T O P I C R E V I E WApple CoreOK, so in Star Signs, Linda says that you have to meet your missing half of the you-of-you and merge or something. (please excuse my wording) But what exactly is the difference between being immortal and being "fully immortal?" If you're already immortal, then how would being "fully immortal" change things? This concept confuses me. Also, since we all have free will to accept or deny any relationship, then would refusing this "merging" prevent immortality or revoke your immortality priveledges? Any thoughts?GrasshopperImmortality is a journey with several inevitable stops along the way.------------------"The reason why birds can fly and man cannot is simply that they have perfect faith; for to have faith is to have wings." ~JM BarrieRandallMany people take this too literally. Linda was a poet and was very big on Love. She said one isn't fully immortal until they meet their other half, but she was speaking about none of us actually being complete until we meet our Love of all Loves. You can tell she isn't being literal in regards to immortality, because she ends that statement with a qualifier stating that if you are immortal you are guaranteed to eventually meet your other half at some point in your immortal Life. So, her statement doesn't mean you cannot be immortal until you do find your other half. Only that none of us are truly whole--no Immortal is fully all they can be as far as the goals of immortality go--until they find their Twin. And yes, Free-will is important. We could say no. In fact, many of us have done just that, because he/she/they are not yet ready. But we will inevitably eventually be twogether, because that is part of why we are here. ------------------"Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca ClarkApple CoreThanks Randall. That really cleared things up. I guess I have a little trouble with some of the more subtle ideas in her books. It certainly makes sense, or else immortals would be dropping like flies. Sunmeadow GladesLove your cute name, Apple Core!!!!!!!Love and Peace,Sunmeadow Glades.
